Ilford Town SNT – VAWG Community Engagement Event at Ilford Train Station

Ilford Town Safer Neighbourhood Team will be holding a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) community engagement stall at Ilford Train Station on Tuesday 16th December 2025, from 09:00 to 14:00. This event forms part of our ongoing commitment to improving safety, raising awareness, and strengthening trust within the local community.

Throughout the day, officers will be stationed outside the main entrance to speak with residents, commuters, and visitors about concerns related to VAWG and general safety in the Ilford area. We will be providing practical crime-prevention advice, including information on reporting pathways, local support services, and steps individuals can take to stay safe when travelling.

The team will also be promoting Met Engage, encouraging members of the public to sign up for updates, share feedback, and remain connected with the latest policing activity in Ilford. These conversations help shape our priorities and ensure we continue to address the issues that matter most to the community.
